Nurture
What is your word for the year?
Happy 2021! We made it! So many of us have been ready to say sayonara to 2020 for quite some time. Now we can focus on the road ahead, and the light at the end of the COVID tunnel is shining brighter and brighter. What will you do with your 2021? How will you pursue it?
Many people set New Year’s resolutions, but as the statistic shows, few of us actually accomplish them. The main reason is because they aren’t specific enough – lose weight, go to the gym, be a better person. It feels kind of weird to apply the SMART concept to resolutions like we do with other goals but yet, that’s likely why we seldom achieve them.
Instead, many of us, like myself, choose a word for the year. I think it feels a little less daunting and more inspirational and intentional. For 2021, my word is Nurture. I want to focus on nurturing myself, nurturing my fellow Joychievers, and nurturing the Joychiever business.
