I have a confession. I regularly check my phone within 15 minutes of waking up. I am one of the 62%. It is something that I am trying to work on. There are so many other (better) things that I could do with that time. Snuggle with my partner. Meditate. Be grateful for something or someone.

Mornings are a great time to focus on you, before all of the craziness of the day seeps in. Establishing a healthy morning ritual sets the tone for your day—one that is typically more calm and productive. It enables better stress management by keeping it at bay for a few extra minutes or hours. And it can give you something pleasurable to look forward to so that you spring out of bed, rather than hit the snooze button repeatedly.
What can you include your morning ritual? Meditation, exercise, family, your favorite morning beverage, writing, or maybe walking our dog. The options of limitless and totally yours for the taking.
